Each year, billions are spent on services. Package shipping. Conferencing.
Dining. Travel. Entertainment. Mobile communications and much more.
Despite the expenditures, most corporations don't have an effective
way to manage there procurement needs.
Like procurement categories and other on-demand services have distinct
characteristics that make them difficult to manage. They're schedule
oriented. Acutely time sensitive. They can't be represented in a catalog-based
e-procurement application. And they can't be easily managed across
the enterprise.
As a result, companies have relied on single source buying. A lack
of true oversight. And a significant missed opportunity for savings.
Founded in 2003, Quantumm group set out to solve this services challenge
by developing a new class of Services-on-Demand solutions, initially
focusing on the Service procurement area. Early on, we recognized
that the market needed an on-demand services-based procurement platform.
One that would centralize procurement. Leverage preferred suppliers,
And drive down operating costs.
